Another Audi in 2.0 Tdi guise. Although its reasonably brisk in manual form, there’s always a little room for improvement.
In standard guise the engine produces 177bhp and 280lb ft, as usual we checked to make sure the DPF and EGR (the most popular faults on these engines) didn’t flag anything up, along with a full health check on the car before we proceeded to write a new map for it.
After tune we should be looking to see 210bhp and 317lb ft. Immediately pulling away up hill in first, there was no delay in throttle response, and pulled smoother through out the rev range.
Mpg has already improved by 5mpg on like for like driving.
