Tuning Emporium had the pleasure on working a new Audi Q7, 3.0 V6 Tdi, 272bhp, although not exactly slow, the customer wanted better gear changes.
The challenge was set. After a full ECU scan and health check, as always, we proceeded to read the current factory map, and set to work on improving the performance and gearchanges.
By careful software programming, we managed to increase power from 272bhp and 442lb ft to 320bhp and 501lb ft.
Through the increase in torque, and better spread of power delivery, gear changes have improved too.
On this modelwe could tune the engine through the diagnostic port, but on some engines, the ECU might need to be removed.
